Youtube interactive video game!

This is so cool! I mean like really really cool. Canadian director Partick Boivin (check out his other stuff, too) misuses the annotations feature within Youtube to create an interactive video-version of Street Fighter!!!

You chose your fight moves by clicking on different options (A, B, X, Y) in the video screen, with each new sequence being a new video in a new window. Nuff said, check it out:

See, that’s a simple yet creative approach for the use of “new” media. Me likes a lot! And I bet that there will be some agency jumping on that idea for some sort of advertising campaign very soon ;)
